1st Open Call for Grants

We would like to announce  the first open call for Grants, funded by our COST Action NEUTRO-NARPS (CA24124): 

  • Short Term Scientific Mission (STSM) grant funds a visit to a host organization located in a different country than the country of affiliation by a researcher or innovator for specific work to be carried out and for a determined period of time. For this call, the STSM can be scheduled on any week during the period 16th February 2026 – 30th September 2026.
  • ITC Conference Grant (ITCCG)  aims at supporting Researchers  affiliated to a legal entity located in a participating Inclusiveness Target Country (ITC) / Near Neighbour Country (NNC) (no matter the age) to attend  and present orally their own work within the scope of the Action, in a high-level conference fully organized by a third party, i.e. a) EHA Research Conference 2026, b) EHA 2026 Congress, c) International Society of Experimental Hematology 55th Annual Meeting).

  • Young Researcher and Innovator Conference Grant (YRCG) aims at supporting  Young Researchers and Innovators (YRIs)  (under 40 years old) affiliated to a legal entity located in any COST Member or NNC country to attend  and present  (poster/oral presentation) their own work within the scope of the Action, in a high-level conference fully organized by a third party, i.e. a) EHA Research Conference 2026, b) EHA 2026 Congress, c) International Society of Experimental Hematology 55th Annual Meeting). 

Funding Scheme: The maximum amount for each grant is up to 2000 EUR as was decided by the Management Committee and it should reflect the duration and location of the STSM or Conference, which the application reviewing committee will take into consideration.

– Confirmation of the host on the agreement from the host institution in receiving the applicant
– Letter of support by home Institution
– Motivation Letter
– CV

For ITC Conference Grant

– ITC Conference Grant Application form (template available on e-COST platform) describing: Relevance of the conference topic to the Action and Motivation describing the potential for impact on the applicant’s career.
– Copy of the abstract of the accepted oral presentation
– Acceptance (or invitation) letter from the conference organisers
– Letter of support by Supervisor/PI/ Head of department
– Motivation Letter
– CV

For Young Researcher and Innovator Conference Grant

– YRI Conference Grant Application form (template available on e-COST platform) describing: Relevance of the conference topic to the Action and Motivation describing the potential for impact on the applicant’s career.
