DEI Survey
Your Voice Matters!
As part of our ongoing commitment to Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, Neutro-NARPS has developed a dedicated DEI Survey to better understand the experiences, perspectives and needs of our network members.
The questionnaire explores important aspects of professional and scientific life, including gender equality, career development, mentorship, leadership opportunities, work–life balance and inclusion in international collaborations.
Your participation is valuable in helping us recognise existing strengths, identify challenges and shape future initiatives that promote a fairer, more supportive and inclusive research environment.
We invite all Neutro-NARPS members to participate in the DEI Survey and share their perspectives.

Promoting Equal Opportunities, Diversity and Inclusive Scientific Collaboration
Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) are essential principles of the COST Action Neutro-NARPS (Network for the Advancement of Neutropenia Research and Patient Support), reflecting our commitment to building a collaborative, supportive and inclusive international research network.
The DEI initiative aims to ensure that all members, regardless of gender, nationality, geographical location, institutional background or career stage, have equal opportunities to participate, contribute and develop within the Action.
Diversity brings together researchers, clinicians and professionals from different countries, disciplines, backgrounds and career stages, enriching scientific discussions and encouraging innovative approaches.
Equality promotes fair access to scientific opportunities, training activities, mobility grants, leadership positions and professional development.
Inclusion fosters a welcoming and respectful environment where every member feels valued, heard and encouraged to actively contribute to the network’s activities and decisions.
Our DEI Commitment and Activities
Within Neutro-NARPS, the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion initiative works to promote a research culture based on fairness, mutual respect and equal participation.
Particular attention is given to supporting young researchers, encouraging gender balance, strengthening participation from countries and institutions with fewer research resources, and promoting opportunities for mentorship, networking and leadership development.
The DEI initiative also seeks to identify potential barriers to scientific participation and career advancement, including challenges related to work–life balance, caregiving responsibilities, limited research time and unequal access to professional opportunities.
Through awareness-raising activities, dialogue and feedback from network members, DEI contributes to identifying areas for improvement and encouraging practices that make international scientific collaboration more accessible and inclusive.
We believe that embracing different perspectives and experiences strengthens scientific excellence, fosters innovation and ultimately contributes to better research and patient care.
