Kraków, the former capital of Poland, combines a rich historical heritage with a dynamic academic environment, offering an ideal setting for international scientific exchange.
The Jagiellonian University, founded in 1364, is one of the oldest universities in Europe and a leading centre of research and education in Central Europe.

The conference will take place at Audytorium Maximum, a modern and fully equipped venue located in the city centre, providing an excellent environment for both scientific sessions and networking activities.

 

Travel Information

The venue (Audytorium Maximum) is easily accessible from Kraków Airport (John Paul II International Airport Kraków–Balice).

 

Option 1 – Train and Tram/Bus (Recommended)

From the airport to the city centre:

  • Take the train (SKA1) to Kraków Główny (main railway station)
  • Journey time: approximately 17–20 minutes
  • Frequency: every ~30 minutes

From the main station to the venue:

  • Tram line 4 → stop at Teatr Bagatela (direction Bronowice), or
  • Bus line 179 → stop at AGH (Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza) (direction Os. Kurdwanów)

Final access:

  • Short walk of approximately 5–7 minutes to Audytorium Maximum

Total travel time: approximately 30–40 minutes

 

Option 2 – Direct Bus

  • Take bus 300 from the airport (direction Os. Podwawelskie)
  • Frequency: approximately every 15 minutes during daytime
  • Get off at Muzeum Narodowe
  • Walk approximately 5–10 minutes to the venue

Total travel time: approximately 40–50 minutes

Public transport tickets in Kraków are valid for both trams and buses and can be easily purchased through the following options:
